أكد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب أن بلاده ستنخرط بقوة في قطاع النفط الفنزويلي.
وفي الشأن السياسي قال ترامب «نتخذ قرارا الآن في شأن الخطوة التالية بالنسبة للقيادة الفنزويلية وسننظر فيما إذا كان من الممكن لماتشادو أن تقود فنزويلا والآن لديهم نائبة للرئيس».
وكشف ترامب عن عدم سقوط أي قتيل أميركي خلال عملية اعتقال مادورو، لافتا إلى نقل مادورو إلى سفينة ثم سينقل وزوجته إلى نيويورك.
